In a time long long ago, I used to blog and I really loved it. And I really loved reading blogs too. But life happened at the speed of light and my last post on my old blog was 2019.
So much life has happened since then!
All of my kids are married. I have 5 granddaughters now, 1 grandson and another precious grandson arriving in November.
My mama passed away. We survived a pandemic, my daddy was diagnosed with Alzheimers and moved in with us. My husband retired from the post office after 33 years and we moved cross country, taking my dad with us.
I no longer live in Washington state and am now a midwest girl, living in Kokomo Indiana with a cornfield at the edge of our beautiful property.
I live a small life: taking care of my daddy, knitting, cross stitching, reading, and enjoying our new small town. We are certainly enjoying this slow, calm, peaceful life we have waited 42 years to create.
I would love to have you join me as I embark on this quieter stage of life!
This is my latest knitting project, cast on today!
Glad to be here 🙋♀️🇨🇦

ReplyDeleteWelcome back to blogging!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing you YOPing again! :)
ReplyDeleteI commented so quickly, I didn't notice that you wrote you've moved to Kokomo. I'm in a small town (well, actually in a country neighborhood) just a little south of Indianapolis. Welcome to Indiana!
